If colors aren’t really your thing then we have a wedding design idea for you. Mixing metals in decore has been having a moment for the last several years and this design it gives you so many examples of ways to combine gold, silver, black and every shade of gray at a modern venue like Building 177. The combination of elements in this wedding show you that there are no rules when deciding the look of your ceremony or reception. We see a mixture of Lucite, velvet, a Moroccan poof, metal furniture and vintage pieces. When we saw the mood board we knew that we had to go with a medium gray three-piece suit for the groom along with a gray velvet bowtie in just a slightly darker shade of grey. The groom’s look not only complements the monochromatic gray theme but takes it to a higher level. The bride wore a gown that could be considered both modern and vintage with lace fabric in a sheath silhouette with flutter sleeves and a thin black belt. Overall this is a wedding that you don’t see every day and has so many great inspirational pieces especially there “till death do us part” sign which is such a stand out element (that your mom may not love but will come around to)!
