Retro weddings are a trend we will never get over, and this stunningly fun creation shows just why!
We love how many unique and interesting trends were around every corner at this wedding. The ceremony was on the lawn with one of the coolest backdrops we have ever seen! Wooden arches and half-arches in yellow, orange, and pink set the stage for the retro setting. Flowers in golden amber tones bring a touch of whimsy and romance to the moment.
The reception was also a perfect blend of classic décor and retro fun! Long white tables with gold and white velvet chairs on either side brightened up the patio. The tabletops were covered in amber taper candles, wooden charger plates, and orange linens. We particularly love the hanging floral centerpiece that floated above the guests. For their sweetheart table, they repurposed their ceremony backdrop to sit behind them – bringing in the colors from one wedding moment to the next. This is also a great way to cut down your décor cost, by repurposing decorations from one wedding moment to the next.
The bride wore 2 gowns: one a romantic whimsical gown with sheer lace and billowing sleeves. Her second look was a white more modern lace gown with a plunging neckline and long ethereal train. She paired her looks with a floral crown and fun ceramic yellow earrings. The groom wore our Caramel Notch Lapel Suit – which is the perfect shade of brown for a retro-style wedding! His look was paired with a bolo tie to tie the chicness together.
Something we love about this wedding were the matching Mr. and Mrs. jean jackets for an extra layer of style! How fun is that?!
