This is what we like to call ‘upscale-bohemian’. It means that there are traditional boho touches like macramé, pampas grass, lace, and neutral tones – but mixed with high-end finishes like velvets, metallics, and black-tie fashions.
The venue is one of our favorite spaces of all time, The Botanica Venue in Oceanside. This venue has everything our SoCal hearts could love – waterfalls, coastal breezes, lush gardens, glowing trees, and more! The ceremony was on the great lawn overlooking the waterfall. The chairs were a light wood farmhouse style, with a fun ceremony arch done in a chic neutral tone to complement the rest of the décor.
The reception was filled with long wooden tables with white metal chairs. The tables were decorated with a white runner and woven charger plates. We love the touches of amber and caramel in the candle holders and floral pots. This wedding opted out of having the traditional wedding cake and went with smaller cakes and cupcakes instead, we love how dainty an sweet they look. Especially on that amazing desserts table with cakepops and donuts.
The bride wore a bohemian dream gown with modern lace and long billowing sleeves. We love the way the gown has an almost illusion vibe to it with the lace detailing. She paired her look with long flowing waves and a fun bridal bouquet. The groom wore a simple monochromatic look with a black tuxedo and long tie. We love the pop of white in his pocket square for an added stylish touch.
