This wedding is one of those magical moments that will stick with us forever. The venue, the style, the fun details…it is just the dreamy inspo we love to see!
The venue was The Ryder Hotel in the heart of Charleston. The space is an upscale escape where you can say “I Do’ in their open-air courtyard that brings a whole lot of style and a dash of that chic Southern charm. The ceremony was set in front of the delightful outdoor fireplace with its cool mid-century style tile. We love the addition of the florals that combine traditional garden themes and bold tropical tones for a unique moment.
The reception was near the pool with long tables covered in tropical light pink linens and coastal accents. The cake was a stunning tall three-tiered moment with a baroque monochromatic design to it. One of our absolute favorite parts of this wedding was the interactive design elements at the reception. Starting with the live painter for the ceremony, allowing guests to be awe-ed by the talent of the artist, while giving the couple a one-of-a-kind memory from their special day. The other is the uber-cool tattoo artist that allowed guests to get small tattoos at the wedding! How cool is that, sign us up for one! We’re thinking of maybe a cool bow tie tattoo? What do you think?
The couple wore two looks: the first a flowing tulle gown with off-the-shoulder detailing and three-dimensional floral appliques all over the train. We love how she paired the look with a long cathedral veil, perfect for a grand I-do moment. For her second look she ditched the long dress and got into a tuxedo-style short dress with feather sleeves. We put her hair in fun box braids to bring a sense of flare and fashion to her look. For the ceremony the groom rocked a soft neutral with our Tan Notch Lapel Suit paired with a terracotta-colored long tie and living-floral pocket square. For the reception he went for a more bold color, but still in the neutral family with our Caramel Notch Lapel Suit.
