The Dana Point Yacht Club was the picture perfect venue for Alysa and Michael's intimate wedding with rustic details. The sweeping views of the ocean made for great outdoor photos. Rather than playing up the nautical beach theme, they opted for flowers and decor with a slightly rustic vintage style which is very popular right now. Details like the twine and succulent boutonniere, the birdcage for cards and the mini personalized candles for wedding favors all brought in the romantic rustic wedding style while working with the classic venue. A big trend that we are seeing in wedding menswear is the groom wanting to wear a pop of color at his wedding. The traditional groom look is for him to match the bride's dress color- usually being white or ivory. Yet more and more we are seeing that grooms want to standout with their own personal style. This could either be with a color to match the bridesmaids dresses, or an entirely different color that compliments the wedding theme-- which is exactly what Michael did at his ocean front wedding. He kept his tuxedo a light and airy color with our Heather Grey Allure suit and paired it with a fun pop of light blue in his tie and pocket-square. The best man wore a champagne tie to match the neutral color of the maid of honor's dress. We love how Michael's look makes him stand out while still complimenting Alysa's classic satin ball gown with a plunging neckline.
