Best New Orange County Wedding Venue: The 1912
Over 2016, we've been honored to do several inspirational shoots at the newest wedding venue of Orange County, the 1912 in downtown Santa Ana. The space has a cool, industrial loft vibe but offers a perfect blank slate to design your event in any number of ways. We've seen rustic, romantic, and in this shoot, tropical with bright colors. The mixture of glass, metalics and wood, make give this wedding shoot interesting layers. And we love the romantic flowing gown next to a modern charcoal and black tuxedo.
Shoot Vision from the designer, Ilana Ruben of "Perfect The Event":
The light gently pours down onto green and fuchsia beds of exotic growth. Elephant ears and monstera leaves showcase the vibrant tones of the bougainvillea and candle light dances beneath. A once urban framework quickly evolves into the lair of the jungle and the birth place of the rain forest elephant.
Cascading into a place she thought she once knew, but now looks like a foreign world; she slowly walks through. Taking in each detail, each touch of pigmented gold, each round edge of grey river rock china. She now sees the beauty of what has become of her once big city memories. A Hayley Paige design hugs her body, as her Maria Elena headpiece and wrist statement glisten, she is ready for this day. The day she becomes one with the man she met in this foreign world, and fell madly in love with. He is prone to this world, and thrives in the colorful wonder.
This is the day that their two worlds collide. The modern marvel and the jungle gentleman.Florals: Three Petals Floral and Event Design | Hair + Makeup: The Girls Beauty Shop | Catering: 24 Carrots | Bridal Salon: Mon Amie Bridal Salon | Stationery: Love By Three Concepts | Ghost Chairs + Linen: Something Borrowed Party Rentals
