It's almost summer and that means it's almost time for summer weddings! There are lots of ways to do a summer beach wedding, black tie chic, light and airy, tropical and fun or how our customers chose to do it, casual and beachy blue. The bridesmaids wore a whimsical shade of pale blue chiffon long gowns that perfectly matched the sky. Then the groomsmen were in charcoal pants and suspenders while the groom also added a charcoal grey vest to his look. When asked how the groom should dress for a warm beach wedding, we usually recommend layers- have a coat for some images and for the evening but also have your vest and accessories planned for all the images when your coat will be off. As for shoes, many times groomsmen just wear sandals if the ceremony is in the sand, like this example, but if the ceremony is on the grass or a solid area overlooking the beach, we recommend suit shoes as they complete the look better. Back to this San Diego beach wedding, one more tip we will share is how this couple provided parasols for their guests-- if your ceremony is long or you have sun-sensitive guests, little details like this go a long way!
