Write-up by Lorena Riach of Rustic Vintage Events:
"The style I wanted was a watercolor theme especially having a styled shoot on the beach, how perfect would a watercolor boho wedding be? The color palette would be a mix of lavender, greys, blues and a pop of Marsala, Pantones color of the year. Now that I had the color palette and style in order, I contacted some new talented vendors I had not worked with before and asked if they would love to join our styled shoot. They all said Yes and Sydney and I couldnt be happier. When I started to create the tablescape look, I wanted to include a mix of colors and props. I wanted the table to look and feel like a husband and wife had just eloped and were celebrating their special moment on the beach having a romantic evening dinner...(continued below)
The table runner fabric colors were a combination of blue, grey, purple and it resembled a watercolor technique. I then incorporated white scalloped shaped dinner plates with a gold trim. I wanted the table to have a splash of color, so that color would be the marsala color of the year. The table napkins were lavender sheer fabric and half of the napkins were dipped into red wine and red Kool-Aid to create a somewhat Marsala color. I added a mix of silver flatware; the stemware collection was a mix of pewter cups, purple goblets and glassware had a grey and marsala watercolor style to it. The name cards were a pearly color shell with white calligraphy writing on it. The centerpiece was my double clam food party food holder and I used it as a floral centerpiece holder. The romance on the table came from the mixed wine bottles with candle wax on them. Oh and the seating, OMG the peacock chairs with the flowers attached to them was the icing on the cake those chairs created the tablescape I had envisioned."
