"Bubbling over with effervescent beauty and marked by an imaginatively playful aesthetic, today’s featured shoot fittingly took place at Costa Mesa’s Chuck Jones Center for Creativity, a thoroughly modern event venue owned and operated by 24 Carrots, one of Orange County’s most sought-after caterers. The center also houses a nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring artistic innovation and originality in the spirit of the celebrated American animator and cartoon artist after which it is named.

"I love the space’s industrial, blank-canvas feel,” says Aimee Takumi, the shoot’s orchestrator and the designer behind boutique event company Confetti Skies. “Enlivened with Chuck’s colorful cast of characters, the gallery walls are reminiscent of childhood.”

Aimee embraced the whimsy, fun, and movement of his artwork through her bubbly theme. “Nothing says celebration like champagne,” she says, “and anyone, young or old, can enjoy bubbles.”
