Black Tie Wedding at a Spanish Mission
Quaint Spanish vibes basically smack dab in the middle of Los Angeles, heck yes! The San Gabriel Mission is one of those hidden gem venues that has beautiful garden spaces with bistro lights along with romantic Spanish architecture and all set centrally in Los Angeles. This wedding shoot designed by Vivian Lam Events had a warm color palette with blush and peach florals along with wood chairs and gold metal flatware. We love the climbing flowers up an arched door that served as the backdrop for the ceremony, talk about a way to add drama to your wedding ceremony with flowers! The bride's look for this soft wedding design was an empire waist chiffon gown with a plunging back and floral applique. Her loose bun fit the natural flowing bridal bouquet she carried and check out the oval engagement ring with round side diamonds! As for the groom, saving the best for last (sorry, not sorry) we dressed him in a slim fit shawl lapel tuxedo with a black bow tie, a black wool vest and black matte shoes. His tuxedo is classic but we made it slightly less formal by using a matte vest and shoes rather than shiny ones. Subtle elements make all the difference but aren't super obvious when you are putting your look together. So chat us or pop into one of our stores if you are trying to piece together your perfect groom's look and need some tips!
