Write up from Green Wedding Shoes: Darling GWS readers, prepare to be whisked away to the faraway + exotic land of… Los Angeles. We’re only kind of joking! The moment Renée from Moxie Bright Events walked into the new L.A. venue, City Libre, she felt as if she was immediately transported to Mexico City (with a touch of Palm Springs). Running with that feeling, she crafted a gorgeous celebration of Mid-Century modern Palm Springs style, with Mexico-inspired details! Jasmine, the photographer at Let’s Frolic Together shares: Renée took inspiration from very specific elements of each city’s style, and then purposely gave them a modern twist. From the hand-lettered brushwork on the paper goods, to the patterning in the appetizer styling, to the bold blue and soft pinks in the tableware styling — every ounce was infused with creativity. We especially loved the idea of unusual potted plants as favors, and the balance of secluded garden meets urban cityscape. Who’s ready for a quick getaway to Mexico or Palm Springs? Let’s boogey!
