This wedding might be in the sunny SoCal town of La Jolla, but it is giving us all the French vibes we love to see at a garden wedding! From the chic blush and gold tones, the amazing couple style, and Provence-esque reception décor we cannot express our love for this design inspo enough. Plus, when the amazing Mandy Ford Photography and uber talented Layered Vintage get together, you know it is going to be pure magic!
The ceremony space was outdoors and romantically decorated with a dusty-pink backdrop and lush florals in rose, green, and gold. We love that the reception décor blended the French-inspired theme with the pink and cream French bistro chairs (how chic are they?!). Yet the theme was blended into an almost garden-boho style with the macrame plate chargers and fun bountiful florals in the center. We love the harvest-like foods and cocktails, from the flatbread pizzas to the fun drinks created by MIHO Catering we were in awe.
The bride wore a few fun and flirty gowns that complimented the theme perfectly. One was a romantic two-piece gown with a long flowy shirt and flutter sleeves. The second was a lace A-line gown with thin straps and a fitted bodice. And the third was an old-world inspired gown with a long tulle skirt, a high neckline and a billowing sleeves. The groom wore one of our all-time favorite looks (that could not have been more perfect for this shoot), our Rose-Pink Notch Lapel Suit. The color of the suit with the details of the wedding was dreamy and bold, almost Bridgerton or Jane Austen inspired. He paired his look with a gold velvet bow tie, what we love about the bow tie is that it is neutral in color but bold in fabric. Creating a chic and unique look.
