If there is one thing we are really into right now it is velvet tuxedo coats for grooms! Velvet has been trending for bridesmaids and it also looks amazing as a tuxedo and is surprisingly not any warmer than wearing a regular tuxedo or suit coat (at least the velvet tuxedos offered at Friar Tux aren't!). This wedding at Avensole Winery in Temecula brought tasteful glamour in so many different ways, from the bride's beautiful look to the velvet-clad groom to the chic color palette of black, white and pale violet, let's break down the details... Some of our favorite parts of the bride's look are her crystal heels, her veil with lace trim to match her gown and give a vintage feel and of course her gown with delicate lace sleeves. The bridesmaids looks were a unique choice, with the maid of honor wearing the lilac accent color to really stand out, and the other two bridesmaids wearing white gowns. The groomsmen wore modern black tuxedos with black bow ties to allow the groom to just stand out a bit in his velvet coat, it's a very timeless and cool look that doesn't require any contrasting colors. 2020 is going to be a year of slightly more formal weddings so get your design headed in that direction and use this beautiful real wedding as inspo!
