Glass Castle aka Greenhouse Wedding

Venue: The Greenhouse PNOC
Photography: Melissa Fe Chapman Photography
Menswear Style: White with Black Shawl Lapel Tuxedo with a black velvet bow tie
Why are greenhouse and nursery weddings becoming all the rage these days? Well they have that uber chic mixture of being both modern and vintage. Elegant and trendy. Fun and romantic. And let’s all be real with ourselves, isn’t that exactly what weddings should be?
With their open floorplans and glass windows greenhouse venues give themselves to be a photographer’s dream. And with flowers already abundant, it allows for all your other vendors, including the florist, to really have some fun in decorating and the details. Just like all the amazing vendors on this shoot who were brought together due to the amazing mind (and eye – she’s the brilliant photographer too) Melissa Fe Chapman! The custom ceremony arch, the green modern cake, the vintage inspired invitations…this wedding design was simply perfection.
The bride wore an amazing lace ballgown with an off the shoulder neckline, making her look like a modern-day Alice in Wonderland bridal edition! Her hair was pulled back in an elegant braid with a stunning floral headpiece. The groom wore one of our favorite looks to complement his bride’s gown and venue, a white tuxedo with a black shawl lapel detail. He paired his look with a black and white polka-dot bow tie and black oxford shoes to keep everything chic and simple, with a little modern flare.
