Menswear Style: Black Suit with a long black tie
Write up from Style Me Pretty: I'm calling it now: copper is the new rose gold. This surprisingly stunning shade is our new go-to metallic and it seems like My Lovely Events got the memo before us all.
From Luna De Mare
The design elements for this romantic take on a modern wedding inspiration started with the beautifully crafted invitation suite by Wedding Paper Divas. The modern invites with beautiful copper foiling was the foundation, built layer by layer by My Lovely Events to complement the tone. Using details that enhanced the metal, we incorporated florals to give it the extra pop, while using some woods and neutrals that worked together rather than overpower the senses.
The space was a blank canvas, and though kept to a minimum in order to let the details breathe, Poppy Design Co. designed and built organic installations to add elements of interest to the tablescape and bare brick walls. HNYPT offered a unique lighting situation, which encompassed both light and dark within the space, essentially offering a lighthearted take on mood. Stemware, libations and confections also kept within the light and dark theme that were mimicked throughout each vignette. A popular marbled effect was used in both the cake and pyramid chocolates for an artful look. The results were simply beautiful, and truly delightful to capture.
As an added bonus, Poppy Design Co has shared the bouquet recipe for those whod like to emulate the look for the foliage we chose a mix of pieris japonica buds, blooming quince branches, and nandina. For the blooms, we chose peach Melba amaryllis, double daffodils, double tulips (toplip is the name), scabiosa, clooney ranunculus, majolica roses, and double gerbera daisies.
Our style notes: Rose Gold is a huge trend in fashion these days that is now starting to make it's way into the wedding world! Here at Friar Tux Shop we are loving this rose gold inspired photo shoot! The rose gold can be seen in the florals, the fun industrial chairs, the candles, and the cake. There are even hints of the rose color in the brides makeup!
The bride is wearing a stunning tulle A-line dress with intricate details on the bodice. Her hair is done in loose waves and minimal makeup. Allowing the big bridal bouquet with a variety shade of rose to stand out and pop! The groom wore our slim fit black suit, Valencia, that looks both modern and classic. This look is put together with a simple black skinny tie and a simple white boutonniere. The groom looks put together and stylish- take it a step further and put your groomsmen in the same tuxedo but with rose gold bow ties to bring in color from the wedding into your bridal party. Stop into any of our locations and talk to a consultant about how to incorporate your wedding colors into your bridal party attire.
