Did you know that the opening heart titles of “I love Lucy” were based on the diamond-encrusted heart-shaped lapel Desi Arnaz gave to Lucille Ball on her 29th birthday? It’s true! So when you are creating an “I Love Lucy” styled shoot, of course there has to be a giant red heart to pay homage to it!

We are obsessed at how fun this retro style wedding shoot turned out! From the bright invitations, the gorgeous moon backdrop, colorful table decorations, and vintage car this wedding was styled to pure perfection. The bride wore a bright pink wide legged lace pant with a loose pink top and vintage inspired oversized belt. Let us not forget about her bright red Lucy styled hair with a loose finger wave. The groom wore a traditional white shawl lapel tuxedo with black trim, black pants, and a retro black bow tie. This look perfectly screams Ricky Ricardo, in that subtle Ricky way of course.

This inspo was everything we didn’t know we were missing from our lives and proves that point that everyone indeed did love Lucy.
