Masculinity doesn'tt need to be lost in a wedding that is what the designers of this San Diego inspiration session set out to prove. They wanted couples to see that it can be represented in a beautiful way, without being too feminine. They wanted their images to celebrate marriage equality, but also celebrate the different styles that it brings to the wedding industry. The two handsome grooms in the shoot are an actual couple, though not engaged yet. Note that there isnt a single flower in sight. Instead, greens and different natural elements accent the loft proving that you can create beauty in many different ways. The loft is a sleek, industrial space that gave the team room to create. They wanted to highlight darker tones such as gray, navy, mahogany and deep green and keep the mood sultry with the dark details. They also wanted to create a backdrop of light bulbs to bring a pop to the room. Everyone does market lights nowadays, but they wanted to inspire the lighting experts to do something different. A whiskey bar, with all of the accompaniments and cigars added to the masculine feel. While all of the vendors had a great experience, their favorite part was watching their two model grooms get lost in the moment. They are genuinely in love. They even got emotional and shed a few tears. That true love caught everyone involved up in the moment and made the session all the more special.
