Joshua Tree Elopement Shoot
Location: Joshua Tree National Park
Photographer: Honey Photographs
Friar Tux Shop Selection: Burgundy Tuxedo Coat and pants, Camden by Ike Behar with Black skinny tie
A wedding celebrates two people coming together as one united front. Just like the location for this fabulous inspirational engaement photo shoot: where two distinct desert ecosystems, the Mojave and the Colorado, come together in Joshua Tree National Park. This couple celebrated their unique styles in their non-traditional wedding attire and this non-traditional wedding elopement location. The bride wore a fun short dress with gold embellishments on the top. Bringing a bit of sparkle to the earth tones of the desert. While the groom wore our new burgundy tuxedo with matching pants by Ike Behar. The color brings a pop of sophistication to the earth tone color palette of the styled shoot, while the black satin shawl lapel made it modern and sleek. We love that the groom's maroon tuxedo is almost more dressed up than then bride's look, each couple is different and sometimes the groom is more into fashion than the bride!
Other styling details for this desert elopement included the wildflower bouquet with blush and burgundy flowers next to plenty of leaves arranged in a natural style, the plum colored chiffon ribbon finished off the bohemain style bridal bouquet. His boutonniere also had a maroon daisy with a sprig of berries and greenery. The groom has some facial hair but it is very nicely trimmed and facial hair for weddings is definitely a trend we are seeing lately. U2 might have had an album called Joshua Tree- but hands down this styled shoot is better than a platinum record!
