La Jolla Beach Summer Elopement
California is known for our laid back and beachy style, and this La Jolla Editorial epitomizes just that. We teamed up with fabulous vendors to bring you this fun styled shoot that we hope will inspire you to create your own beach themed engagement session or wedding.
The first look was an ivory lace gown with some beading and a Grecian cut that flowed in the windy sea breeze. The bride's hair was done in an intricate french braid with simple makeup. The groom wore a tan suit a simple white button-up shirt and boutonniere. Let us not forget to mention the matching flip flops! The second look was more extravagant. The bride wore a sexy pale blue bridal gown with a plunging illusion neckline. We love that the bride went all out with two gowns even though it was in intimate elopement wedding. Wearing two gowns is a great idea if you want to wear a colored bridal gown, so that you can still get some classic wedding shots in a traditional white gown. Again our groom kept it classic with our tan coat and pants and chocolate brown dress shoes, in some of the photos he took off the coat for a more casual look. This tan suit looks great with any themed summer wedding. From nautical beach to rustic woodlands this suit will create a great look for your bridal party and pairs great with a variety of colors to match any bridesmaid style. The beach wedding decor included seaglass, hurricane vases with candles, romantic flowers and vintage style wooden tables and chairs. The neutral color palette with some royal blue pops perfectly complimented the seaside surroundings. Hope this helped you with styling for your own summer wedding!
