Leather & Lace Wedding Style
Photographer: Katie Beverly Coordinator: Andi Compton, Now That's a Party Friar Tux Shop Selection: Black Michael Kors Tuxedo
They say opposites attract, but don't take our word for it- the mini bottles of Rosé in this photo shoot think the same way we do! The idea of Leather and Lace coming together in marital bliss was the inspiration behind this amazing wedding photo shoot. From the ceremony arch, the invitations, to the wedding cake everything is in a delicate balance between tough and sweet. The bride wore a stunning D'Angelo fit and flare bridal gown. The gown has delicate black lace detail with a tulle skirt- paired with a fun ballerina bun and a pop of color in her makeup. Even her flowers mimic the "beautiful but tough" inspiration by having delicate blush peonies with hard white and black poppies. While some brides wear a bolero to cover up- this bride takes it to a new level and pairs her unique dress with an even more unique leather moto jacket!
Here at Friar Tux Shop we love seeing different ways to wear a "traditional tuxedo." There is no tuxedo more traditional and elegant than our Michael Kors, but as this shoot proves- traditional can always be made unique. We love how this groom was styled in an all black look with only a white detail in his boutonniere. Though this may be all one color- the different textures within the garments themselves come together to create a fun groom look. Mix up your groomsmen in white shirts to make your groom stand out! That will bring personality to your bridal party while still keeping it elegant- mix their boutonnieres with pink peonies and that will create the "opposites attract" theme of the wedding inspiration!
