One of the chicest and trendiest themes hitting the wedding scene today is the Moroccan wedding design. What is this design you may ask? Well, our stylists at Friar Tux have broken down the main elements of throwing a Modern Moroccan wedding and we're sharing the details needed to create this stunning theme.
One of the biggest design elements for the Moroccan style is the metal lantern. The more the merrier when it comes to these. Have them on the ground as an aisle runner detail in the ceremony, or as centerpieces at the reception. Have them with candles in them to illuminate the room with a romantic glow or use them abstractly by having lush florals cascading out of them. No matter how you use them, it will be a showstopper for sure. The other element to have in mind are rugs. Colorful, patterned, mix-matching rugs! Again, the more the merrier, and have them layered on top of each other for a fun design detail. When it comes to florals, a big one to keep in mind of is feathered pampas grass. Add them to your floral bouquet, other floral arrangements, or just keep them in a vase all themselves.
We love how the brides gown in this amazing shoot has a modern style of lace and flowing sleeves that pairs perfectly with the design elements in this wedding. We particularly are in love with the way the groom wears one of our favorite groom's looks: the dark green suit! This hunter green suit, available for rental or purchase, has been a hot commodity of ours this season, and it is no secret why. Paired with a neutral deep brown tie, this look is modern and sophisticated while still having a trendy fun element to it. Hope you enjoyed this fun Moroccan wedding design as much as we do!
