July 3, 2016… the day we had imagined, dreamed of, envisioned, practiced. It was finally here! Matt got to the venue with his guys first, then the bridal party arrived and went straight to the room they had for us to keep hidden until the action began. When Karen our coordinator said those words we were waiting for, “It’s time,” chills ran over my body. My dad and I stood away from everyone waiting to walk, so it was a good time to see our whole wedding party walk down, to see our parents, and even to peek at Matt. It was a really cool, out-of-body experience and I will always remember that moment right before it all started.

The ceremony was perfect. Phone-less, personal and emotional. The cocktail hour followed the ceremony, where the guests got to snack and drink while we took photos. Since it was at Lincourt Vineyards, the wine was delicious and free-flowing! The snacks included a gourmet grilled cheese station, watermelon topped with feta and basil, baked artichoke hearts and coconut shrimp. We ate a delicious buffet dinner of tri-tip, chicken, Brussels sprouts, caramelized onion mashed potatoes and salad. Plus of course…more wine! Matt and I got a quick dinner in before sneaking away for sunset photos with our photographer and videographer. This was the best time for photos! I’m so glad we did that because it helped us to have some alone time and look back at the reception filled with all our friends and family with so much pride and joy.

The night was seriously everything a wedding should be: beautiful, fun, unforgettable, magical, exciting, emotional and genuine. After dinner the dance floor got going and never stopped for the rest of the night! There was a quick break to dig into our wedding cake and delicious S’mores cupcakes by Patti Cakes. Then everyone followed back out to the dance floor! Needless to say, it was a day (and a weekend) we will never forget! We are so thankful to our friends and family who came out to help us celebrate. The weekend was really made by the people who were there with us! Plus, all the people who helped make all of our dreams a reality, like our parents and awesome vendors!
