Safari Inspired Wedding Design
“There is something about safari life that makes you forget all your sorrows and feel as if you had drunk half a bottle of champagne — bubbling over with heartfelt gratitude for being alive.” – Karen Blixen, when talking about her time writing her novel: Out of Africa
With the golden glow settling over this African Safari inspired wedding design, it is hard not to feel transported to a gorgeous savanna. A Stone’s Throw Winery in San Juan Capistrano was the perfect backdrop for this design with its green courtyards and lush fruit trees. The design itself was filled with organic materials such as wood, ceramic, woven décor, and succulents. We are in love with the subtle safari décor touches that make this wedding shoot styled to perfection with binoculars, vintage phonograph, and gold animal figurines.
The bride wore a stunning chiffon gown with a plunging lace illusion neckline, that makes her look like the queen of the desert. While the groom wore a simple and classic safari look with a tan suit and dark brown suspenders. By matching your suspenders and socks, the look goes from looking relaxed to stylish quickly. It shows that you put thought into your look, even if you are not wearing a tie or other formalwear. Now excuse us as we jump in our jeeps, the Safari awaits.
