Snowy Winter Woodland Wedding
If you weren't considering a wedding in winter previously, you may want to plan one after seeing how our customers created a cozy and cool design incorporating all the best parts of winter! Let's start with the bridesmaids dresses which incorporated two major trends: green and velvet! The groomsmen wore black tuxedos which look perfect next to the deep green gowns and also fit the feel of the winter season. If you wanted to change it up, you could opt to put the guys in our dark green suits available for rental or our version for purchase and then put the gals in either black or another neutral color gown. But back to this wedding... The bride went with a lace gown with sheer sleeves which is perfect for a more chilly season and the overall boho vibe she had for her look plus green velvet heels to tie back to her bridesmaids. The groom matched the groomsmen in a black shawl lapel tuxedo with a green velvet bow tie, totally timeless.
Now to look at the winter wedding design elements. Since the wedding was 3 days before Christmas, they went with a literal green, red and white floral scheme but skipped the poinsettias and opted for a variety of red flowers to keep with the bohemian look. Then maybe our favorite part is the photo booth pillows and collection of blankets decked out in Christmas prints and bringing the cozy feel of the season. We weren't there but are pretty sure that there was a snow machine on site so that they could add snow flurries to some photos which is so unique from weddings happening any other time of the year [in California at least] and really ties the whole theme together. So now that you've changed your mind on your wedding date, congrats on having all of 2020 to plan your winter wedding. C'mon people, bring on more December Weddings!
