Vintage Glamour at the Terranea Resort
Write-up by Lara Burnap:
"We're head over heels with inspiration for this styled shoot created by the talented team of wedding planner Carmen Fuentes of Expressionary Events, florist Flower Duet, furniture rental by Rrivre Works and photographer Christopher Todd. The setting on Terranea's sprawling lawn overlooking the sparkling Pacific Ocean was a picturesque backdrop to the lush color palette of coral, blush and ivory with pops of teal. Featuring the sharp-dressed male model in Michael Kors first ever collection of rentals (at Friar Tux) and the bride modeling the beautiful lace-sleeved gown by Berta at Costa Mesa's Mon Amie Bridal Salon.
A continuing trend this year is outdoor wedding décor using raw wood materials coupled with clean modern lines, a detail that was achieved with stunning wooden pergola and crystal chandelier over the gorgeous tablescape. Rustically glam touches include the custom iron gates placed at the entrance to create a grand entrance, Rrivre Works wooden LOVE collection table topped with decadent cakes and desserts, including the effortlessly chic rolled white chocolate-ribboned cake created by The Butter End Cakery. Add in the subtle bridal bouquet with it's suble shades and delicate additions of rosmary. The inspirational result is a nuanced blend of rustic meets modern with a romantic and lush vibe. We are ready to say I do."
