The Special Event

The Special Event is a conference and trade show specifically designed for the event planning industry. This year, The Special Event celebrated it's 30th year! To compliment the event's prestigious style, we dressed the 30 waiters in our slim fit navy tuxedo and they looked dapper! TSE is an annual event planners conference attracting over 5000 event professionals from the USA and around the world. During the conference, signature events like The Wedding Event give local event professionals the opportunity to join together to showcase their best practices and products to other event industry representatives. These events aim to promote education and the exchange of ideas and also grow business for the industry. Partnering with our event co-chair, Pauline Parry from Good Gracious! Events, and working closely with Jeff Brown from BrownHot Events, we based the overall design of The Wedding Event on the three phases of a wedding – the Proposal, The Ceremony and the Happily Ever After. In true California Style, we were inclusive in our planning – marrying vendors of all kinds to create a true "marriage" of event professionals every step of the way. All aspects of love and marriage were represented, including same sex couples and mixed races and the event even included an appearance by gorgeous female impersonator "Miss-ed Opportunity".
