When Modern Décor Meets Bohemian Style

Can we just talk about how chic this wedding is at the Casino San Clemente?! We love how it perfectly embodies the new trend of modern bohemian wedding design.

What is modern bohemian you ask? It is using more bold colors and patterns with a touch a boho flare to create a new, more modern take on the traditional style. Instead of warm neutral tones, modern bohemian used strong colors and more crisp neutrals such as stark whites and ivories.

This wedding does just that. The ceremony was in the amazing Rock Garden at the Casino San Clemente. The space was decorated with modern iron bookcases on either side of the romantic fireplace. The bookcases are adorned with black vases of all different styles and sizes with bountiful white flowers. The aisle leading up the space was covered in alternating woven rugs. One a light neutral jute rug, the other a bold geometric black-and-white rug.

The reception space was a blend of wooden tables with copper and gold flatware. The tables were draped with white table linens and black napkins to continue the fun contrasting colors from the ceremony to the party. We particularly love the black accent wall with fun lettering behind the sweetheart table for some added fun.

The bride wore a modern bohemian gown with a formfitting bodice and long billowing sleeves. She wore her hair down in a loose wave and held one of the most gorgeous monochromatic bridal bouquets ever! Now for our all-time favorite parts of this wedding, the groom’s style!

The groom wore a chic mix-and-match look by pairing our Rose Pink Notch Lapel Suit coat with a pair of black tuxedo pants. His look looks both fashion-forward and casual-romantic, and we are here for it!
