“Love is that can’t eat, can’t sleep, reach for the stars, over the fence, World Series kinda stuff.” – It Takes Two
In honor of baseball season starting, we bring you Alexandria and Christopher’s homerun wedding design! With fun baseball touches and romantic garden details this wedding is opening day perfection.
We love how Alexandria and Christopher added details inspired by their favorite past-time/sport while still having a timeless and elegant wedding. We particularly love the groomsmen gifts of baseball bat pint glasses that really seal the homerun deal.
The ceremony took place in front of an antique wooden door with ivy and florals draped around it. The venue was so gorgeous it did not need many embellishments or décor, which is something to really look into when picking out a venue. The reception was outside with on the green lawn with so many fun details. We love the parasols they helped their guests to keep cool and shaded during the warm spring day. Can how gorgeous was that cake? Decorated with pastel flowers for a real amazing garden-wedding moment.
The bride wore a lace A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline and cap sleeves. She paired her look with a braided bun up-do and a bountiful bridal floral bouquet. The bridesmaids wore soft-pool-colored gowns in different necklines for each woman to show off her own personal style.
And even more on the baseball trend of the wedding is the groom and groomsmen’s suits! Made out of our performance fabric, these suits might as well be running-around-the-bases attire! The fabric stretches and moves with you, while COOLMAX® technology whisks away any sweat and heat to make sure your bridal party looks calm, cool, and collected from the I-do’s to the Seventh-inning stretch!
