70s Inspired Wedding Full of Fun Textures & Colors
70s inspired weddings are here and we are 100% on board! This inspo is fun, eclectic, vibrant, and trendy – and this wedding design by the brilliant mind of Taylor Decker Events + Weddings shows exactly what we mean.
First, the chic and colorful wedding invitations. These ivites let the guest know they are not just coming to a romantic wedding, but to a fun freaking party! When the guests arrive, they are welcomed by the ceremony space on a green lawn with boho wood chairs and mix and match rugs lining the aisle. The couple ditched a traditional arch for wicker and wood arched divider to gives that retro antique feeling. We love the touch of pampas grass to tie together that bohemian 70s details.
The reception was full of different textures and colors to create a unique party moment. Couches in a mustard velvet, chairs in an orange microfiber, and woven rugs with pops of pink and gold. We love the mid century modern tables to tie the whole space together. Another touch we are obsessed with, is the cake! An orange and yellow circular tiered cake with floral arch designs. It is almost too stunning to eat….almost.
The bride wore a long flowing gown with a structured bodice and long billowing sleeves. She paired her look with her hair half up, half down and gorgeous hoop earrings. The groom brought the 70s chicness with our Caramel Notch Lapel Suit paired with a green velvet bow tie to keep with the other linens of the wedding.
