"The Chandelier Room at Santa Anita Park is an iconic room steeped in the transitions of glamour and elegance that Santa Anita Park was founded on. Erected alongside the park itself in the late 1930s by doctor and movie mogul Charles H. “Doc” Strub, The Chandelier Room was a part of the exclusive Turf Club which played host to the upper crust and much of the Hollywood clientele that frequented the track. Renovated in 2013 and now host to private events and high-end parties, The Chandelier Room maintains several features that gave it its signature look since its founding including its elegant back bar and authentic English chandeliers. The legacy of this room permeates every square inch. This styled shoot is a large collaborative event from some amazing artists in their own right. Janae Marie Photography and Sixteen Fourteen Events put their heads together to come up with the style to display the Chandelier Room and all of its history. A large focus on copper, marble, green, and a touch of geometric shapes helped bring this Art Deco theme to life. The design was the perfect combination to create a modern spin on an Art Deco theme without going full Gatsby."
