Wylie & Marilynn did not let COVID stop their special day! This amazing couple had the intimate wedding of their dreams, that will make all who see it swoon. The warm SoCal weather was the perfect backdrop for their trendy tropical theme with the palm leaf and gold sequin details. We were able to talk to the gorgeous bride herself about their big day: “We had an intimate COVID-friendly wedding with 35 guests and rented out a small hotel in Laguna Beach for the weekend. After dinner, we converted the courtyard into a cocktail lounge, featuring a "marble" beer pong table.”

Let us not forget to mention one of our absolute favorite parts of the wedding, their Funfetti cake! Yes, you heard correctly FUNFETTI (a fan favorite of ours here at Friar Tux). And who knew one could make the childhood-favorite cake flavor look so chic?!

The bride wore two stunning gowns to the occasion. One, a traditional Burmese gown with gold and champagne-colored embellishments. The look was perfectly complimented by her bridesmaids with their own neutral-colored gowns in all different shades and styles. For her second look, Marilynn wore a sultry white embellished gown with thin straps and a low back detail. The perfect look for a stroll on the beach with her new husband.

The groom wore a burgundy with black shawl lapel tuxedo from our purchase collection. While his groomsmen wore the same color from our rental collection. This allows the groom to keep his look for events and memories to come, while allowing his groomsmen the easiness of renting their looks. The groom paired his look with a burgundy bow tie, allowing himself to stand out amongst his groomsmen with their black bow ties.

We simply cannot get enough of this amazing wedding and fun couple! We wish Wylie & Marilynn all the happiness and love in the world! Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day.
