We are OBSESSED with Rey + Dante’s wedding…this stunning I-do day was full of trendy details that we think should take over the internet because everyone needs to see it and take notes! And when we saw the delicious details, we could not help but show them off on the day of love! (Happy Valentines Day everyone).

The venue was the uberly unique Madonna Inn in San Louis Obispo. The venue has views upon views, and style upon style. Their ceremony was outdoor in the garden with fun shades of pink florals surrounding the couple. Their reception was indoors in the Balcony room, full of eclectic charm. Baroque wallpaper, bold floral carpets, and everything dripping in bold pinks and reds makes this reception space not only unique, but trendy as all heck! We love the opulence and charm that this wedding oozes at every corner and detail.

The bride wore two amazing gowns: first her ceremony gown was a romantic off the shoulder A-line style. She paired her look with a low bun hairstyle and long veil. She changed into a fun formfitting strapless gown with an adorable big bow on the back to match the vibes of the venue for her reception look. Her dapper groom rocked a Black Notch Lapel Performance Tuxedo by Michael Kors with accessories to complement the venue. His socks were a cool pink rose vibe that matched the carpets in the reception hall and a pink bow tie to vibe with the color scheme of the wedding.

We were so beyond lucky to sit down with the gorgeous bride, planner, designer, and lifestyle creator herself to get the inside scoop on everything surrounding her special day.

Friar Tux: What was your inspo for the big day?

Rey: We were inspired by the venue itself! We wanted to let the beauty of the garden and steakhouse speak for itself. The unique property reflects our unique and artistic personalities that drew us together as a couple.

Friar Tux: What was your favorite part of your wedding day?

Rey: My favorite (bride) part of the wedding day was right before I walked down the aisle with my parents. Taking that moment in, and right before it was time for us to start walking to the altar, a bunch of butterflies flew in front of us! Butterflies typically symbolize good-luck or someone watching over you which I felt was a sign from my grandparents who have passed away.

Friar Tux: If you could give couples who are starting to plan some advice, what would it be?

Rey: Remember that this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience for you and your partner! Make decisions that will make the future you happy and proud.
