An Ethereal-Gothic Wedding Design

Venue: Carmel Mountain Estate

Planning + Design: Serene Events & Design
Groom Style: Black Velvet Peak Lapel Tuxedo with a black and white arrow bow tie
This is what we love to call ‘ethereal gothic’. Meaning a wedding design that has light and airy romantic details and gothic décor elements as well.
The whimsical elements of this wedding were: the white lace linens, creamy-toned florals, and delicate gold moments. Juxtaposed with a black wrought iron arch, onyx flatware, and dark cane chairs to add the gothic elements. This mixture of elements makes this one of the most interesting and unique designs we have ever seen. It reminds us of a wedding day we have only read about in fantasy books, and we are LIVING for it.
The bride wore a lace formfitting gown with a plunging strapless neckline and sheer billowing sleeves. She paired her look with a winter-inspired bridal bouquet of ivory, green, and red with a long velvet ribbon. The groom matched the gothic vibes by wearing a Black Velvet Peak Lapel Tuxedo with a black arrow bow tie and matching pocket square.
