Grant + Michelle’s wedding was a fun contemporary twist on a modern color scheme, and we are living for it! Blue + pink have been a traditional wedding color palette for quite some time now, but we love how this couple added modern + trendy details to make their wedding fresh and new.

First, how freaking cute are these arched invites? We love the unique shape mixed with the with fun blue tassels, they’re like a party in an envelope! The wedding was located at Willow Creek Events in sunny San Diego. The space is nestled between trees, gardens, stone structures, water features, and more – trust us when we say your guests will never want to leave when they come for your special day here.

The couple kept their ceremony space simple and chic, letting the beauty of the venue and their love do all the talking. The chairs were a crisp white that popped against the lush greenery of the moment, and they couple said I-do under the wooden gazebo covered in romantic ivy, the whole scene felt as if it was plucked out of The Secret garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett.

The reception was under the skies and twinkling lights decorated with white linen-covered tables and the same white chairs from the ceremony. The tables were adorned with gold charger plates and candle sticks for some added pop of metallic color and green ivy to tie the garden theme together. What really loved about Grant + Michelle’s wedding was the dessert table! A wooden table full of cupcakes, cookies, candy, and more!

The bride wore a lace-formfitting white gown with one of the most stunning draped capes we have ever seen! The lace falls effortlessly down from her shoulders, mimicking almost a bell-sleeve. Her dress is so unique, she kept her hair in a loose wavy style and minimal accessories. The bridesmaids wore different shades of light blush in a variety of styles – allowing each woman to bring their own unique style to the day. The groom and groomsmen wore our Light Blue Notch Lapel Suit, what we love is that this suit color is neutral in color but bold in tone – allowing it to play so well with the blush and greens of the wedding color scheme.
