Luxe Romance Inspo With Not One, But Two Surprise Proposals!

We are calling this wedding Luxe Romance, because that is exactly what it is! This wedding design is dripping with elegance, regalness, and so much real romance that it made us weak in the knees.

First, we cannot get over this amazing couple. Just one look at these photos and you can see feel the love from them – specially since they both planned to propose to each other at the shoot without the other know it! How freaking perfect is that? Moments like this are what our wedding-loving hearts explode for!

Second, this wedding venue is giving so much main character energy we are living for it! La Venta Inn is a Spanish Villa with lush gardens, romantic charm at every turn, and a view that will take your breath away. With several ceremony and reception spaces, plus a private cottage to get ready in this place has everything that you could possibly want and need. Holly Gray from Anything but Gray Events was the visionary and creative mind behind this wedding design, and if you did not know WE ARE HUGE FANS OF HERS! The space was adorned with a mix of grandeur and charm. Long tables filled with luxe plaid linens, golden details with the chargers and flatware, and tall ivory taper candles brought an intimate calm to the overall moment. We are obsessed with the warm-toned florals that decorated the space with a mixture of reds, greens, yellows, and orange colors.

Okay now to get to our favorite part, the fashion! We love when grooms complement each other, while allowing their own personal style to shine through at the same time. And this couple did just that – all while coordinating with the overall design of the wedding perfectly! Frank Shaver-Burgess (an amazing frendor of ours from Events by Frank) wore our stunning Burgundy Shawl Lapel Tuxedo paired with black tuxedo pants and a black velvet bow tie. We love the way this tuxedo’s color and texture just pops against the space, while the richness in style allows it to complement the overall wedding design. Connor Shaver-Burgess added another layer of style by wearing our Black Paisley Peak Lapel Tuxedo. What we absolutely love about this tuxedo is how from a distance it just looks like a simple black look, but as you get closer it has a pattern and a shine that is just PERFECTION! He paired his look with black tuxedo pants as well and a burgundy velvet bow tie that complemented Frank’s tuxedo. We love that their looks were so different and unique, but balance each other out in tone and shine – just like when you find your soulmate.
