Write-up by Melissa Reinke of Sweet Blossom Weddings:
"The beautiful Palm Courtyard at Park Hyatt Aviara Resort is what inspired our styled wedding photo shoot. From the moment you step onto this courtyard, the first thing you notice is the immaculate palm trees lined on both sides of the ceremony site. With the beauty of the venue in mind, we wanted to show it off by adding elegant and romantic furniture and table settings from Archive Rentals.
A team of three amazing vendors (planner Sweet Blossom Weddings, photographer Katie Beverley, and florist Compass Floral) collaborated over a couple months and the outcome was a beyond beautiful photo shoot. You will go gaga when you see these stunning images (continued below...)
Some of the prettiest wedding trends are inspirational pieces for our shoot. Taya from Compass Floral created a beautiful bridal bouquet filled with marsala color of the year , and blushJuliet roses and rice flower along with marsala Hydrangea and bay leaves to name a few. She also hand-made a wooden canopy to add draping and an arch garland to complete the elegance of the ceremony location. For the table centerpiece, Taya created a gorgeous overhang of draping flowers including tulips, amaranthus and more greenery. On the table, she layed a table garland filled with more flowers to compliment the top arrangement. Together, these two pieces created an over-the-top amazing table design.
Vintage blush, ivory, and gold china and glassware adorned the table along with rose gold flatware all brought in by Archive Rentals. Hand-painted menus and place cards made by Paper & Posies added to the overall design of the table. To top it all off, we brought in a Tuscany Natural linen from La Tavola and gorgeous Sofia chairs from Archive.
The escort card display was custom-made by the florist and planner with matching colorful ribbons for each card to attach to with small clothespins.
For the dessert table, we used Trousseau Petal linen from La Tavola and a mixture of dessert stands from Archive Rentals and Sweet Blossom Weddings. All desserts and cake were custom made by the in-house baker at Park Hyatt Aviara, Chef Franck. Not only did they look beautiful, but they were also quite tasty!
Our models, Alena and Damien, were the perfect couple for our shoot! The natural beauty of our bride was enhanced with makeup by Ashley, from My Girls on Film Studios, and hair by Erin Luce, from Unveiled Bridal Beauty. The wedding dress borrowed from The Dress Theory was a stunner, and was accented by Erin Fader Jewelry. Our grooms charcoal grey suit designed by Michael Kors(borrowed from Friar Tux in Escondido) fit our groom perfectly!
Perhaps the best part of working on this shoot was the wonderful collaboration of vendors and creating a project so beautiful we hope any bride and groom would want for their own wedding day! Enjoy the spectacular images and all the romantic and gorgeous details we have to share!"
