Propel Workshop: An Artistic Wedding
Wedding Venue: Hancock Park Estate Design & Coordination: Sonia Sharma Events Photographers: Caroline Tran Friar Tux Shop Selection: Black Desire by Michael Kors shown with a black bow tie
We contributed to the 2014 "Propel Workshop" guided by the talented Caroline Tran to teach photographers/artists how to create their style and learn best business practices. As a result, we got some wonderfully and artistically shot images of this wedding inspiration. The colors are very vibrant and eye-catching. We love the outdoor setting with greenery on the walls and hanging glass lights. The bride's dress is garden inspired- with a blend of green, red, orange, and yellow! This shoot shows that a well fitted black Michael Kors tuxedo can go with classic ballroom weddings or outdoor whimsical events.
Caroline describes Propel as, "Propel focuses on helping you build a sustainable business, and establishing your style when you shoot. We cover topics anywhere from marketing & branding to workflow. And of course, we always have a couple of beautifully styled shoots for lots of hands-on practice. I walk you through how I approach a shoot, and then give you time to practice. Propel is an experience. Think of it like summer camp or a retreat. There's no way to fully describe it; you just have to experience it."
