Who can enter the promotion?
You may enter the promotion if you meet the following eligibility conditions:
(i) Legal U.S. residents of one of the following California counties: Kern, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego, Ventura or legal U.S. residents of Clark County, Nevada; and entrant
(ii) Must be between the ages of 15 and 19 years old at the time of entry
(iii) Entrant must be enrolled in a public or private high school or equivalent accredited home school program.
Can I enter the promotion more than once?
Sure! You may enter once per day (i.e. every 24 hours) during the promotion period of March 11, 2019 Noon Pacific Time (PT) through May 26, 2019 11:59 p.m. PT.
When will I receive the Promo Code for 20% Off All Prom Rentals and Purchases at Friar Tux?
After you submit your entry, you will receive the Promo Code from Friar Tux within 24 hours via email and via SMS text message (if your mobile phone number was provided).
If the date of my 2019 Prom has passed, can I still enter for a chance to win?
Yes, you can still enter for a chance to win a prize. The rental certificate will not expire for three years and can be used at any Friar Tux store location.
What is included in the Free Friar Tux Rental prize?
Prize will be awarded as a Friar Tux Free Rental Certificate redeemable for rental of a suit, tuxedo or any other items at any Friar Tux store with a maximum value of $200.00.
Does renting/buying at Friar Tux increase my chances of winning?
No. There is no purchase necessary.
Is my entry eligible for all of the prize drawings throughout the promotion?
It depends on when you enter. Your entry will be eligible for all Grand Prize and First Prize drawings that happen after the date of your entry. Check out the prize drawing dates in the chart below and be sure to enter each day to increase your chances to win.
The Promotion Period is divided into two (2) Grand Prize entry periods (each under "Grand Prize Entry Periods") and eight (8) First Prize entry periods (each under "First Prize Entry Periods") as described in more detail in the chart below:

How are the winners selected?
There will be a random drawing on the dates listed in the chart above. Drawing will consist of all eligible entries received up to and including 11:59 p.m. PT on the last day of the applicable Grand Prize or First Prize Entry Period.
How will an entrant know if they are selected as a potential winner?
Potential Winners will be notified via email and/or phone number (if provided) approximately forty-eight (48) hours following applicable drawing.
Can I win a prize if I'm not attending Prom?
Yes, attending Prom is not an eligibility requirement.
Can girls win a prize?
Yes, if they meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Official Rules.
When will a winner receive their prize?
First, we need to confirm the Potential Winner as an Official Winner. Potential winner or potential winner's parent or legal guardian (if the potential winner is a minor) will be required to sign, notarize and return within three (3) business days of notification: (1) a release and (2) an affidavit of eligibility/compliance with Official Rules. Once those documents are returned and promotion administrator confirms requirements have been met, the prize will be delivered to the Official Winner in the form of a check made out to the winner and a free rental certificate.
